Meet Sarah, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, CPHON
Sarah is a Doctoral Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Pediatric Hematology Oncology. She is a Cannabis Specialist, and a certified Holistic Caring Cannabis Health Coach. She maintains certification through Goldstein Wellness Medical Cannabis Essentials Advanced Practitioner Program and is a Certified Healer through Dustin Sulak's Healer Medical Cannabis Wellness Advisor Training. She is an active member of American Cannabis Nurses Association.

Originally from Bakersfield, CA, Sarah graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield in 2011. She began her career at Children's Hospital Colorado on a multidisciplinary surgical specialty caring for children with orthopedic, neurological, and trauma rehabilitation needs. She later pursued travel nursing at premiere hospitals such as Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford and Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. Eventually, she made her way to Children's Hospital Minnesota for a Summer assignment, met her husband, and made Minnesota home. She spent 5 years working in a pediatric cardiovascular ICU while simultaneously earning her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Minnesota in 2022. She found her passion specializing in Pediatric Hematology Oncology and medicinal cannabis science education.

Sarah lives in Prior Lake, MN with her husband Matt, two children, and their two dogs. She loves teaching others how to harness the power of medical cannabis through treatment of the Endocannabinoid System. She also enjoys home DIY projects, F45 workouts, boating, and family time.

Sarah understands that the world of healthcare is complex and overwhelming. By building a bridge between traditional medicine and medical cannabis with cannabis education and implementation support, she is able to help others restore their health and wellness and live thriving BALANCED lives.

"As a pediatric oncology NP, I certify qualifying children and young adults for medical cannabis. However, after certification, providers have limited skills in cannabis dosing options and families are left uncertain of how to proceed. Most providers are not trained on the Endocannibinoid System and lack the ability to support patients in their medical cannabis journey. I was frustrated by my inability to provide this support, and so, I dove deep into the world of cannabis medicine. I found a plethora of resources, organizations, studies, and expert cannabis care providers. What I learned blew me away. Since then, I have developed the expertise to help people overcome complicated ailments that traditional medicine has not adequately managed. I know this will help so many people and I can't wait to share this with you!"
